The B1 readability module is the advanced version of our readability module. It will help you write your content at the desired language skill level. This way you can easily modify the readability (text complexity) to the reading level of your target audience.
It will give you clear suggestions on what changes to make on sentence and word level. You can view a short demo of the B1 module here.
The B1 module follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In short: the CEFR organises language proficiency in six levels, A1 to C2, which can be regrouped into three broad levels: Basic User (A), Independent User (B) and Proficient (C).
B1 level is important because a very broad part of the public will be able to read and understand it. In general, it’s a good idea for most organizations to write content at B1 level. European governments and government-related organizations are even required to communicate at B1 level.
Our B1 module is state-of-the-art and based on advanced NLP (natural language processing) models and extensive high quality datasets.
The B1 module replaces the more generic default readability suggestions.
This module is available in our Business (as add-on) and Enterprise plans and can be offered as an add-on to other specific plans.
